LifeProject Digital Designs and Concepts is looking for 5 talented Freelance photographers and videographers for a New Year's Day event to be held at Singapore's Most Popular Night Club. We will be using this event to select the top photographer and the top videographer to shoot a larger clubbing event to be held in Kuala Lumpur in March 2005.

"Note: No payment will be issued for the New Year's event. However, the top photographer and the videographer will earn a free trip to KL for free with given expense and hotel stay in March.

Just to clarify, the winner goes to KL to shoot for the event but only gets travel and accomodation expenses? or are there further fees paid on top of that for the job?

What kind of expenses? Chicken rice at the roadside or at the hotel?
What kind of hotel? Red light district or 4 star hotel?
Transportation provided, take taxi or bus?
Any ECA before/after shoot?

Since this shoot will not be a paying job, will the cost of a new set of batteries be born by the organisers?
How about travel insurance for the photographers and equipment?

BTW I will not be taking part, just making sure that the photographers will not be taken advantaged of.

If you want to go and not be paid, make sure that ALL cost will be paid by the organiser. Because you will be giving your skill, equipment, time, blood and sweat.

Try to pay them dinner and transport as a good will lah. Those poor photogs sacrifice their New Year eve with their love ones to shoot for you and you're not showing something?

Reminds me abit of the time when I had an idea to organise a beauty pageant where the winner gets to go KL and become my model for FREE!!!

Yo, maybe Clubsnappers are mistaken as poor souls who can't afford to go KL..... :sticktong
