Ok, let me try my haft pass six English... don't flame me...
I am getting myself prepared to be flamed. This is nothing new!
Here we go.
Is correct grammar important? Is the utter disregard of correct English unique to this region?
Many of you will argue what is correct English. Different region, UK, US, Australia and Canada all have their uniqueness. What I quoted is definately not one of the accepted version.
but when the ang moh's speak improper english, we embrace them as if it is something cool, and we then use those improper english words like ang mow wannabees?
now it become one quarter. :embrass:I guess you are trying to say "Half pass six"... :bsmilie:
people malaysian you know. mother tongue is malay....what do you expect?
No. We speak Malish (Malaysian English).

No we don't. You may, but not me.
It's not just English, it applies to Chinese, French, Germany, Japanese, and any language, we should have some respect to the language and use it properly. You can be a Malay, if you want to communicate in English, at least try your best. The example here, I do not even know where I should start tearing it up. It is bad.
it will help if you are communicating ideas to and fro with clients, art directors, stylists, assistants..etc etc. well, if english being the main working language there, that is.does a competency in English contribute to being a good photographer?

Deadpoet said:My spelling had always been my achilles' heel. Too bad, CS uses vBulliten does not have a spell checker, I am lost. But, does a typo means my observations or comments are irrevelent?
excuse me?
is this what you call "trying your best" in the language? not spell checking because of an "achille's heel" and lack of spell check function in the forum.
haha what a joke :bsmilie:
