Please dun compare the outer appearance. Cos what matters most is the inner self of one. Cos a gd personality can stay forever in a person, whereas gd looks may or may not stay with a person for long.

I am pretty amazed by the dilapidation that it seems to appear here.
People who are interested to take shots of me: Lechers or not, I wouldn't know. Cos there will not be a sign pasted on your forehead saying "I'm a lecher". And thats why, for everyone's information, I prefer to choose someone of a high professionalism level. Hence, to allow me to judge, a portfolio of yours I seek.
People who is starting to be wary of me:What can a first-timer, an amatuer, do to someone of your kind? Afterall, I have more to lose than you. Those that think that I will use your work as some advertisement shots in the local media. Fret not. As I was saying, I just want someone who can help me with my own portfolio. And you will certainly not see it in the newspapers, TV, magazines and so on.
People who is wondering: "She only wants 2 or 3 people to shoot for her".
I'm just a starter, but have lots of energy to learn and to gain more experience in this field. Can you imagine having a herd of people taking photos of me? Ask yourself: Would you have the heart to make the 'first time' of mine to be of such an experience? Or would you rather have me to enjoy the first shoot? So that I will start to have more shoots and eventually more people to join in per session?
Or are you simply having this resentment as you know that you are not going to be chosen as you are not good enough?

Not to go into semantics of details, you are making the correct choices. Stick to your beliefs, and especially your right to choose whom you feel most comfortable working with in this adventure of discovery.
Yes, it is sad, and many would be pained for being spurned at the opportune chance of working with you; such is life.
We must all choose our own ways and I do wish you well in your endeavous, present and future. I am afraid that there there are many others who may do you much more photographic justice than I can.

I offer you a one-to-one photography session.
You don't like to have many people "shooting" you. I don't like many people (I prefer none) shooting alongside me. I offer you a shoot using FILM, and only black & white film.
And OK, let me generous. I will offer you a shoot using my 4x5 camera (Don't know what that is? Find out! You are a student!)
And I offer you a way of photography that you might have not thought of. I will NOT teach you to pose. I will ALLOW you to be yourself. I will not make a caricature of you,
