Original list was all those who are interested... so naturally once date is set some people will have already made other plans...

No problems... actually I'm trying to see if they can arrange for a programme after the shoot... the programme can accomodate 15 people...

Just a thought: how will the organizer/judges prevent people from submitting 'doctored' images? (E.g. sharpened, softened, gaussian blurred, etc, increased saturation.) Or are those acceptable? :dunno: Please advice.

The objective is just to choose the best picture to represent the spice. But that shouldn't stand out like a sore thumb among the other photos.. If some digital manipulation needs to be done to the photo that enhances the image, then I'd say go ahead, but please don't go overboard..

Ok.. I've got the details

Host: Ms Kwan Lui, at-sunrice
Date: 9th March 2003
Time: 2pm - 7pm (Briefing starts at 2pm)
Location: at-sunrice in Fort Canning (directions)

They will be also rehearsing for something called the Spice Odessey where there will be props setup in the garden & 'Spice Girls' will play host to introduce participants to the spices. We should take some of these setups as well.

To summarise we will need shots like (but not limited by)
- Wide shots of the garden
- Shots that depicts the 8 kingdoms (the garden has 8 sections)
- Shots of the spice girls introducing the spices
- Shots of the setttings of the Spice Odessey
- Spices themselves (This will be a good bulk of it)

A pbase account will be created, username & password will only be distributed to those present. A naming convention will need to be adhered to which is tentatively

Please submit only the best 1-2 shots of each spice/scene.

Photos may be digitally manipulated, but bear in mind that we're choosing the best shot for the website, over manipulating it may not suit the look of the site.

The album will be closed on 12th March 2003 at 11:59pm and the photos will be chosen from there.
