I am using a film SLR. Will scan negatives/slides into JPGs.

Btw, it was mentioned that selection will be based on the photographer's portfolio.. Are we required to submit a portfolio too?

No need... that is only for option 1 (if we were to choose only 1-3 photographers to shoot), but the response is good so we shall do as a friendly competition.

This will be challenging as you will really need to put thought each shot to make it look good knowing the same object will be taken by other photographers as well... This will be fun...
