darrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
u gotta teach me how to do it!
i am trying to figure a way to mount it on my old benq PnS as the lens is fixed and i have a feeling that i have to sticky tape the cannister on top

is the benq lens barrel too small for the film canister? i actually don't have a solution bcos mine was a total perfect fit.. why don't you try playing around? one option cld be to add tape to the inside of the canister until the internal diameter is just right.

i will trying out to find. was thinking ot blue tack but then confirm will have leakage. i see how. once i find a way i will go hunt for the door peep thing ;p

you don't really have to worry about leakage. bcos when taking pictures you have to zoom in so the image circle takes up as large an area as possible. so the parts where light leaks in won't be visible i think.. not sure how it'll be like for you.

anw abt the peephole i think if you are willing to fork out a bit more you can get one which gives you more angle of view and more distortion.. but the cheapo ones are just fine.

okay this is probably way off topic already. nothing really to do with LOMO. but i thought i'd just share anyway.. my peephole mod has two buddies now. tore apart an old polaroid camera and cannibalised the lenses and got myself two "macro" attachments.

Woah! This thread is damn cool...

Creative & cool work!

thanks! going town tmr so see what the fisheye bring back

thanks! the world through a door peephole. have to get up close and personal with the subject in order to fill up the circle. i was standing almost at the foot of the cenotaph for some of the photos.

   nice series darrrrrrr!

I like #7 best. the yellow reflection of the beetle on the edge is pretty...
darn, now you make me wanna make a door-peep lens too.

thanks! i did some photoshop on the beetle pic.. the ones i uploaded earlier were straight out of cam, lacked contrast n punch IMO.

thks for sharin dude! btw, can u show us how u put the electric tape below? to make the "lense" fit nicely

THanks for sharing!
The peephole shots looks exciting when brought outdoors. Now i feel so inspired to DIY one.

*tIme to hunt the hardware stops...

welcome! it wasn't much of a problem for me bcos my lens barrel is the same diameter as a film canister so it already fit nicely. just stuck a little square of electric tape on the inside of the canister so it would "grip" onto my lens barrel more tightly. had to play with the amount of tape so it wouldn't grip too much.

if my camera ran out of battery the lens wld automatically retract if the fisheye is stuck on too firmly the lens motor might get damaged. i'd rather sacrifice the $3.50 than my digicam! will try to get a photo to explain better..
