Actually, I think Liverpool will go all out against ManU because Liverpool have won the Premiership 15 times and so have ManU:devil:. On second thought, maybe they'll just start cheering for Chelski to stop ManU from being the most seccessful team in the Premiership.

Hats off to Liverpool for their European success though. They have clearly been the best England-based side there. And I would root for them over Chelski any day. We American teams have to stick together.:bsmilie: :bsmilie:

It's hard to beat liverpool by 2 goals or more at anfield. CL qualification can be considered served on the platter already.

Rafa wants auto CL qualification next season.. he will field a full strength team for both matches.

Very difficult and tiring for the first eleven to play a full game for both matches. If the first eleven continue to play for the CL match against Barca, fatigue will set in and you may end up losing the game. Rafa will definitely tamper his selection cautiously and I believe he will give priority to the CL match, given that they have a realistic chance of making it to the final whereas the EPL title is out of grasp. Yes, qualifiying for CL next season is important but you still got about 10 games more to work on it.

Just because Pool beat Barca 1-0 away doesn't mean they are going to have it easy at Anfield. With a team of such pedigree, Barca cannot be discounted even at Anfield. So, don't be c**k sure that it's plain sailing all the way or on a platter, as someone mentioned earlier on. They will make u sweat for it. Oops.... sorry..... it's Liverpool vs Man U.
