If i'm not wrong,Liverpool will face current European champion Barca at Anfield 4 days after we welcome MU,hmmm...juz wondering whats on Rafa's mind?? Maybe field a weaker side against MU and play Barca a stronger side??;)

Rafa gotta tamper with his selection and, with the matches four days apart, you can't expect to field your first eleven for both matches and win. Somehow, you fatigue will set in and you gonna lose one match.

Liverpool dont need to win both matches...a win against MU will be good, that means 3 pts...a draw against Barca will see Liverpool progress to the last 8...:bsmilie: ermmm..losing 1-0 to Barca means Liverpool also advance(on away goal rule) but that'll make all the red fans sweating blood watching the game!!

You might want to verify first. I see only 3. :sticktong

3, at most :sticktong BTW, can we play these same 11 against liverpool? Just for the first 6 minutes though. Then replace all with the 3rd team. :bsmilie:

joking only.... waiting for good game and let the results say who is better on the night.

I dunno who the 1st 11 are !

Compared to arsenal 2nd team of virtual unknowns, team B of man utd got plenty of familiar faces. :p

Liverpool, Manutd, chelski and arsenal, be it first or 2nd team.

still way ahead and stronger than most of the EPL teams.

Agreed Rafa may not go all out in this game for he knows that title is beyond their grip but not the euro cup!

What i foresee is he may reserved some of the guys for the barca visit to anfield, and we must expect no less then a Barca onslaught at Anfield as the will be coming for a win n nothing less....

So in the end its boils down to what Rafa want? win against Man U or a shot at the EURO CUP :bsmilie:

It's hard to beat liverpool by 2 goals or more at anfield. CL qualification can be considered served on the platter already.

Rafa wants auto CL qualification next season.. he will field a full strength team for both matches.
