its very sad but dirty kite has indeed signed an extension to his current contract.

as for alonso, i hope he stays.

yah many more to go for kuyt!!!
kuyt has done what he has to do for LFC this season...most of his goal are important ones...i know his goal-scoring record must improve but for me,he deserve his contract extension.

We need another forward & i believe Rafa knows that,we have to wait & see who LFC sign...

i hope Alonso stays & am confident he will...

the barry saga will arise again...but i sincerely think we dont need him...

what we need for next season?

goalkeeper? Nope...

rightback? yes but no urgency...

leftback? Nope...

centreback? we have 3 top players there,no urgency...

midfield? we are the strongest there...no need (barry no thanks)

rightwing? good to have someone new & effective but still no urgency....

leftwing? we have riera...but he's not good enough...

forward? this is a definitely yes...but who do we want? now tell me who u all want if we have budget of 20million? and who to sign if we have no limit for budget...

i jus dun want alonso to go!!!!

babel can go, lucas pls get lost, abalone will get a free flight to anywhere as long as he wanna go!!!

think we need a right winger, a new striker.

The Brazilian striker ruled out moving to Anfield on Sunday, but on Monday performed a u-turn by insisting negotiations were taking place and, according to local reports, the Reds would pay £6million for his services.

another flop in the making.

now we hard to get cheap but talented strikers from lower division, like Keegan & Rush. We also got not much talent from our youth system like Fowler,Owen,Carra & Gerrard.

if players come at price ranging 1-8 million, they are good but not good enough.

8-15 million price range, they can be good if settle in well or can be a flop

>15 million usually good but most of them are settled down well at big clubs & even if they are willing to come, their salaries are very high...

Moyes eager to tempt Liverpool Legend to Goodison :bsmilie:

Everton boss David Moyes is offering Liverpool legend Michael Owen an escape route from his Newcastle United nightmare.

The Daily Mirror suggest David Moyes has been given the go-ahead to push through a deal for the Magpies’ beleaguered star, and the promise of regular first team football, and the opportunity to impress Fabio Capello prior to next year’s World Cup may be enough to persuade the Anfield hero into a move.

Owen will have to take a 50% pay cut in wages should he wish to move this summer. Everton have offered the former Real Madrid striker a £50,000 a week contract, which is considerably less than the £120,000 he picks up in the North East.

Once again David Moyes will have to operate on limited funds, and with Owen being a free agent in July, the club will happily break their wage structure in the hope of securing an experienced striker.

Owen is well aware of the need to make the right move this summer, should he retain any hopes of playing for England again, and David Moyes’ squad remains saturated with England squad members currently.

Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Tottenham will all rival Everton for Owen’s signature, however a return to Merseyside, where he still owns a house and racing stables, may be enough to ensure the deal is successful.
