well said...Good deal, sold 1 Torres get 2 younger & in a way proven strikers..
but we didnt pay him peanut..so he better play like a 35million...In FM2011, I (as liv manager) paid a peanut (a modest 11M) for Carroll... and he played like a monkey!
he brought us some good goals ,good times and 50million...thats good as evenn with him we needed that $$$ to improve...now our team is stronger without him as we have more strikers...Anyway, I think that is the best Torres can do for Liverpool - leaving for a healthy sum.
Scored a few goals for Liverpool in the last couple of games and the transfer fee that came because of him has allowed Liverpool to invest in quality youth player.
There is no doubt that Liverpool has been under achieving and that a striker of his talent certainly deserve more.
So I think give Torres some credit. A willing buyer and a determine player to leave does no damage to Liverpool.
wah...old timer like me...Keegan made me a LFC fan...he was my 1st star...back in 75...:thumbsup:Hahahahahaaa... no problemo...

honestly i m Lpool fan through and through since Kevin Keegan.. a gungho charismatic famous No 7 player
hope suarez is more PROLIFIC!so now we have 2 of the most prolific strikers from the Dutch LEAgue.. Suarez and Kuyt!!
:sweatsm:
nm.. blackpool is being unrealistic... with his contract running down.. I doubt he will be worth anything more than 4-5m pound come summer. It's a pity Charlie adam transfer didn't materialize..
my first thought is also 50m is good deal... then we had to go out and spend 70% 35m on unprovened Andy Carroll... he jolly well be the real deal, the next Alan Shearer for that kind of fees.No need to be sad :embrass: I understand KD felt the same way when he saw To$$er leaving, but a lot better with the extra 50mil to spend.. oh well... did auntie give you anything in return ??![]()
hope suarez is more PROLIFIC!
