I had this feeling I would not see SG in the next season at Liverpool after he pushed away talks of a new contract before the CL. Now it is coming true.... 
Indeed, sad to see him go as I am a fan of his.
But come to think of it, Benitez must have known that this powerful midfielder will probably go at the end of the season and kept praising him and saying to built team around him and all during the course of the season. And after winning the CL, goodness, 32mil for SG ..... unbelieveabe price. Can built almost 1/4 of a stadium with that money..... :think:

simple thing. you don't wanna stay. please go. there's no room in the club for a player who thinks he's bigger than the team. he can soak his big head with his galacticos. i will give him the benefit of the doubt and hope he'll speak to the fans to clear the air. but speaking for myself at this very moment, i'm 40% disappointed and 60% completely pissed by what i perceive to be his attitude.
no player should play a single game for us if their hearts do not wish so. i'd rather we field welsh and mellor and get relegated than be held at ransom by jerks. prove me wrong if you can stevie.

Hmm.......seems like Liverpool players like to take their fans for a ride......rollercoaster ride. Steve mecca, Owen and now local fan boy Gerrard.
But i think he is not entirely to blame thou. His agent, SFX will surely play a big part in his decision. Agents are only interested on 1 thing------->MONEY

agents are bloodsuckers. but gerrard is an adult. i think he's mature enough not to be pushed in a direction he does not wish to go. if he really had his heart set on being a red, he would be, agents or not. simply put, he loves himself more than he ever loved the team. to abandon us right when the side is rebuilding...

Nah.... it is all about $$$ lah... what crapping about "how can I leave after a night like this" nonsense. Pool offerred him highest pay in England liao yet he dun wanna sign, kinda obvious where his heart lies right? Dun need this kind of blood sucker in the team, will only get the team into debts.
