time we had some due to us. :bsmilie:

though pompey got more shots in than us, we made ours count which is what rafa has been preaching all along.

we had better possession till the last few minutes and we weren't playing with our real first eleven so i would say we did pretty okay. not well but okay.

oooohhhhhhhh.......

Liverpool v Man U for FA cup 5th rd

thought we had a poor game. a very nervous second half with lots of wild aimless clearances and mishit passes that gave the opposition another chance to come at us. our problem in the second half seemed to be that we failed to hold on to possesion. when you're 2 up, the trick, i thought, would be to hold on to the ball and move it around patiently. when you have the ball the opposition cannot do anything and if they get frustrated, you can probably hit them again. instead we give the ball away by the third pass with the players hoofing the ball away almost as soon as they got it. seems to me to be a poor idea at the stage.
we scored two goals (with a bit of luck) and riise's shot was nice to watch. but while the midfielders showed again they could score, our strikers......they just seemed a little slow of thought and low in confidence when given an opening. nice attempt at the bicycle kick by crouch when he came on, though. keeping him fit would be important.
nice to see kromkamp play for a full match. quicker than josemi certainly though not yet showed himself to be as solid as finnan. too early to tell. glad to see him come out of the pericard tackle in one piece.
momo's first touches were poor again but at least he was full of running as usual. but i felt we defended too deep and gave them too much space in the midfield. xabi was anonymous for most of the match. carra was uncharacteristically nervous at times and reina still flapped a little at times but not really tested. in my opinion, only stevie g, riise and hyypia did well. ciise wasn't too bad too.

well, on to the next match.

Portsmouth played a very good game and somewhat overly physical albeit not in the 'class' of Boreton and Everlose!

agreed that we struggled to get past them. we had a lousy game in fact. Portsmouth was pressing straight from the go and its tough matching them physically as they are really up for it and played as though they depended on this match to survive.

we'll be playing Man utd again in the 5th round. this time at Anfield. i guess there'll be fireworks again!

let's return the angbao to them!

I have just received reliable news  that Agu Cashmir whom the FAS is looking for..... is actually Cisse in disguise...quick...anyone has FAS hotline number?

Great to meet Man Utd again, opportunity for a quick response... reclaim bragging rights ;)

GOD can't play. he's cup-tied. shucks!

hope garcia and kewell will be okay to face them. need to field our strongest eleven and comprehensively whack them to show it was no fluke that we out-played them.

Anybody has any idea where I can get good replica Liverpool shirts? Thanks.

  not a good performance. 11against 10!!

alonso :hammer: must knock it down fifty during next day training and run fifty laps round the field each time stopping at the goal post where the ball went in and shout, "I MUST DEFLECT IT TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE POST" and knock his head three times on the goal :mad2::mad2::mad2: post.

ya.. seems like surprised everyone!!

but i knew it's never easy to play a struggling team like Birmingham. they will really gif it all they've got.:( but still super disappointed to only get a draw.

hopefully we'll do much better at chelski this sunday! go gogo!

At least that MU drew. Hence, there is only a 3 point difference with still 2 matches in hand.

grumpy souey was sacked!! now, was anyone surprised??:bsmilie:

Shearer and glenn roeder will steady the ship from now on. seems like another disaster waiting to befall on them!!!!! :bsmilie:
