LFC(3)! The Rise of the REDS!!!

IMHO, brilliant move by LFC on Fowler,

the Fowler affair will probably distract fans for awhile from the fact the Rafa have just made a statement that we do not have much $$$ (a jibe at the board?), plus that we still did not get some of our allegedly targets.

Anyway dun think Fowler will make much or an impact on the field sad to say. BUT Will love him in a LFC shirt anyway. Ahhh sentiments sentiments.....

i wonder what houllier and thompson are thinking and feeling now with fowler re-signed. :dunno:

i think fowler has grown up and at 30, he may not be in his prime peak but at a good age to bring some more experience to the forward line. (thoughts of gary mac here)

now we can wonder who else will resign? especially those with passion for this club in their heart. ;p

GOD is back!

Rafa is bringing the passion up another level!

3 passionate fans in each department.

Local scousers!

He will be loved by liverpool fans even more:heart:

OMG!OMG!OMG! GOD is back at Anfield. I thought I was dreaming when I saw the article. WELCOME BACK!!! We missed you so much!

It's funny. I was just thinking on the flight home about him. Was thinking how nice it would be if rafa brings him back to the side and that it would be so much nicer even than bringing mickey back. Maybe i tapped onto rafa's frequency for a while as i was cruising at 26,000 feet:sweat: (like a being john malkovich moment).

Fowler had been the player that made me a reds fan. Well, him and gerry francis :) I was keen on spurs (under ossie ardilles, not gerry francis) and reds but fowler turned it for me. and now he's back! I was just thinking that the weakness in our attack was not becos of the lack of talent but of heart (crouch excluded as he's just settling in but i have high hopes for him). moro and ciise were good players but they are still outsiders and their blood do not run RED (red, yes but not RED!). In defence and midfield we had gerrard and carra as the heart (and i would include riise, hamann and hyypia too for i think they're scousers at heart. and now we have a scouse up front! no one outside liverpool have shown the love like robbie has and i am just so happy to see him back.

I think i speak for us all when i say i hope he can find his best and go out with a bang. robbie had a great anfield career but there was always something unsatisfyingly incomplete about his time here. he never did fulfill his potential as we had hoped he would. And the way he left was so sad. hope very much that robbie will now seal his status as a real legend by being the best of the best. show us what you've got robbie!

now, if only they bring rushie back to help with the coaching.....and while i'm dreaming, could we get kevin nolan too :) (yah, i know, we don't need a central midfielder.)
Welcome back Robbie!

sigh, what's wrong with ciise?

Liverpool star Cisse assaulted his pregnant wife

I have no respect for people like this. pace, talent whatever but his heart is in the wrong place. grow up or ship out please.

If mickey came back on free transfer then y not

same here since he has f__ked us twice already.

if on a free transfer, i still don't know really. granted that he is a proven striker but will his hamstrings stand the strain of the prem. before he broke his foot, he was already out injured due to his hamstrings and that was just after two or three matches upon returning to the prem.

 though one part of me says forgive and forget but the other part tells me he may pull the same thing all over again and for what he did, he doesn't deserve to be given a second chance to put on the red shirt again.

maybe let him rot at newcastle for one or two season than let him back. let him see fowler fourish and make 'mickey mouse' more gian than ever. :bsmilie:

still feels like a dream everytime i think about it. why are we so happy that an unfit, injury-prone, possibly has-been striker is joining us? i dunno but i am over the moon anyway :sweatsm:

Robbie will never walk alone!

if mickey wants to come back, i'll welcome him. he had done a lot for us and he is allowed to make mistakes. but he must want to come back, not becos it's a good career move. and the price must be right.

this part i fully agree. makes no business sense to sell him for 8mil and buy him back at 17mil.

why are we so happy to have an over-aged, injury prone, ex-player back?

like what rafa said. he's never seen a player who is so happy to sign for a club. that is pure passion. and that is something money cannot buy. just like our passion for lfc. we aren't paid to support this club but why do we do it.

being passionate and sentimental isn't going to get us anywhere. fowler is a proven striker like owen though he may not be as fast as owen but fowler still has a considerable hit rate. even owen fires blanks once in a while. what's important here is experience and attitude. now we have three scousers in all three departments. this should bring up the level of attitude in the striking department.

fowler isn't the full 90min player now. he can possibly play for one half only or for the last 20mins. but with him in when we need a killer goal, our chances are higher than with cisse. even his mentor, ian rush will not be able to deny that.

i hope he gets on against birmingham and i can't wait to see the welcoming he gets from the fans.

wa lau! cannot afford this greedy CLB(from WWE, Christian's nick given by Stone Cold! ha!) la... Newcastle are the willing sUckers, giving him car, villa and a huge pay per week. goin to Newcastle Utd under grumpy souness has got to be mickey's best career move!

hey, it gave him so much $$, car, villa and all that jazz... not forgetting he din't get to kick a ball for so long due to injury, wow! the $$ keeps flowing into his pocket! and the poor geordies.. do they really think owen is there for the football??????? com'on!:bsmilie:

Fowler anytime! and he really has RED blood in him! what a morale boosting signing! definitely!

and to think a man utd close friend of mine, rubbing it in, saying he's all puffed up and all slow, how can he be of use to Liverpool? madness to sign him!

then i just show him... 5fingers up, 5times, babe! 5 times!!!!!!!!
and yes! 3-1 man city win against man utd, last goal scored by Fowler! that alone warrants his signing to LIVERPOOL!!
and not forgetting, he can play in the CL! oooh! the CL! we're still in it! wahahahaha!

ahem, 2games in hand still... com'on u REDS!!!!! go go go!

fitness and stamina can be built up by the excellent training team at liverpool. look at our players this season compared to last season. they can run and run until the opponents drop one by one.

but tell your man u friend. form and fitness is temporary. skill is class. passion is ...... can't find the right word but no words needed....money also cannot buy.
