Hi,
Maybe a sub forum in Kopitiam named "Vent your Splein"
For members only, (so the the general public don't wade thru it).
If members must get on their high horses about a subject, then they can move THEIR discussions/flames to it and not tie up informative talk.
It can also be used for a person that wants to discuss some matter further but not taking up space on said subject needlessly.

I'm neutral about this idea, but from a technical perspective, it's workable 'coz vbulletin, like phpbb, supports usergroups, which allows selective access.

Why not ? if it is photography related ? are we not here to discuss photography ?
The idea is, to shift some of the enduring discussions to a different sub section (those members that are interested can get there simply).
Also freeing up the other discussion space, for those that don't want to sift through it all in search of helpfull informative talk.
