do factor in gst and shipping cost AND if u ever need to send into Pana Sgp for service they charge 1.5x cost and they track using serial number. buy at your own risk. I called to check as I was thinking of getting fr Jp too

If you're in Japan on a business trip or on leave it makes still sense to buy it there.

Yen rate is now about $1.55 to Yen100 so almost $1,200. Freight + GST will add another $150. Still cheaper than here.

Only worth it if got friends coming over or going there personally for holiday or business. Like I asked my Japan colleague to order 1 and i will collect it on the way back. No GST :p

My eyelids were twitching ...
My ears were flapping ...
My hands were shaking ... No wonder :bsmilie:

Today go Chinatown ..... ;)

How is the balance of the 12-35mm on the OMD?
Does your half leather case help in the balancing?

I think it is a little "head heavy" but maybe I am not used to it yet...:embrass:

I think it's fine. Better than the 12-50.
I usu use the 12-35 with the very grip. Feels perfect.

In comparison to canon 650d+24-70. Omd+12-35 is very light

Comparing with my D7000+24-70, Omd+12-35 is super light and hopefully it can meet the Nikon standard...:)

The 12-35 is super bleeding sharp and gives great colours.

It feels lighter than the 12-50mm? The 12-50mm is pretty lightweight.

just curious, if we visit Japan, how do we order by this lens from Amazon Japan?
do they have a shop for walk in customer?

If going to JApan, maybe just buy off trusted physical stores like those in SG?
