Leica DIGILUX 3 & D-LUX 3

You might like to try the Sunpak Remotelite II slave flash from Cathay Photo (about $50+). cheaper than Metz and works very well on my D-Lux 2.

I have that one too, not same class... but works ok with F30 leh. Still figuring F30 out pairing with the Metz.

well in dpreview, people are already posting their shots. Asia side is slower I guess. Most stores here in Japan told me end of the month is the likely time and very expensive. So checking SG side for price and availability.
