King of Hades...sharp enough :)
ok think i go n develop 2 sheets too :)

Aren't they the kind of stuffs that made you just want to grab your camera and head out to shoot - right now!? :-)

I am so tired back from my photowalk from Mount Faber to Henderson Wave. First thing I reach home to to power on the air-con and drop dead on my futon. I am starting to understand my love for my home futon and air-con better. OMG, I am starting to see this monitor screen tilted. My head cannot keep upright already...:o

Maybe you all can view some of our local shots before going bed. I guess most of you all guys should have know him and his new name here as well.

It is also in his photo that I found this place call Lorong Halus Wetland Reserve and quite an amount of nice shooting place at Punggol (Last visit is sometime back). I am planning to go back Punggol on another revisit shoot perhaps next weekend when weather is good.

Now in Holland... keep the nice stuff coming guys!

oh..i never been to holland before..how the LF scene there?
meanwhile food for thought...would you consider 8x10?

4"x5" is the maximum I will go meanwhile. Building the system based on the lens available.
The accessories and others are also to be considered.

Just walked back from a site taking a windmill using 6X6.
Tonight will meet up with the LF guys for a beer and dinner.
This is the windmill, from the hand phone of course. :)

Nightmare has been very active in the Pentax forum.
His work is something we can really see.
From Yishun Dam area to Lor Harus. :)

yea he really has an eye and patience for good photography. He does exposure blending, so some pics have to take a second/third look. :)

nah, you guys can tag yourselves if you want to. hah

There is certain degree in the idea about eye for photography, but the thing that makes the image possible is more towards the dedication level in getting a good photo. (Landscape especially)

How many people who shoot analog finds that the slides after developing if isn't to his expected level will go back to the same place and shoot till he gets it right?

Anyway, I tried crossing the ektar, I get petty good result on the outdoor shot, the indoor one is very underexpose. Seems like though crossing negative produce a positive image, the level of shadow it can capture is still much lower than actual slides. I am considering testing processing of C-41 films with C-41, but applying a reversal process before processing. But for that, I will need a un-mask color negative film to test first...

My face not inside:), while you all are busy shooting the scene at the top, I am slowly taking my time for the guan ying shot at the centre of the square. :)

nice pics here bro,

I missed this outing. I had the feeling that the sculpture in the park is stationary and will not turned out to be very interesting. Everyone shooting from the same direction and there is no lighting to play with. But I was wrong.

I see something very different here. You have blurred that main subject and have included a "slave" subject in the composition . This make the viewer's imagination goes wild... The picture has depth and becomes interesting !!! wonderful !

thanks for sharing, picture worth waiting for :)

Hey Billy, thanks for the kind words. To be honest I wasn't that keen to go Haw Par Villa too. Especially when I learnt it costs $5 to park, lol. And was drizzling too.

Lighting there was indeed quite uninspiring, but after looking at Nikkornos shots where it looked bright, colourful and cheerful I wondered if he went back a different day, :p

I was shooting expired film so rated the HP5 at 200iso. Plus I didn't bring my tripod from the car so had my aperture widest for all shots. I might have gone for slightly deeper dof otherwise.

Glad my pictures got you something. Maybe challenge you to shoot differently next time. :)

if anyone free he can DI a DSLR on like wootsk said. :p

no group photo but good to see the guys in action. i believe this one is in mixed artificial lights? I think it looked better i n black & white . definite worth a visit there again.

it was an unproductive weekend. i fired 2 shots on still life and try stand developing again. End up one sheet was totally unexposed. probably a mistake while exposing the shot hahah. wasn't too pleased with the other sheet too. but life goes on.

any1 interested in shooting at Bright Hill temple near Bishan this Sunday morning ? It is big and spacious enough not to get chase away. Full of architectural structures for doing your camera movements. there are some 3D wall cravings i think.
