Error in taking shots and developing are good. The lesser you have in this area, the more you find yourself harder to improve. I keep alot of my mistakes so as to reflect on them and show to others how newbie I am.:D Still looking for unmasked negative for experimental purpose, hopefully I can find it fast.
I got some duplicating negs, no masking but its in 35mm though. Let me know if you want.

Here is a resource on Fujinon Lenses and there are a few other pages on LF lenses. http://www.thalmann.com/largeformat/fujinon.htm

I have a 210mm f5.6 W Fujinon lens that I bought from KEH last yr . This lens is relatively cheap and still sharp which generally LF lenses are. it was listed as Excellent condition and price is US$190 and i paid US$60 (that 1/3 of lens price!!!) for shipping .

just got my ammo supply :)

Billy

now you can really shoot biggggg... and wideeeeeee.....
have you buy yr B&W chemical?

i also got a new tool : Paterson Orbital Processor
Ebay Price is ok but crazy shipping prices from UK...

Great find! How much you got it for!?!

I'm looking for one too! No idea why its such a rare item tho

Go try it and post results here!

Besides the orbital processor, which can be a little hard to find, you can also consider the Unicolor 8x10 print drum. You can read about it here and here.

The Unicolor drum is particularly nice because it has the separators in place that allows 4 sheets of film to be placed in it.

this item somehow only shows up at the ebay.co.uk site. Now there are still a few being listed there.
i got it at 35pounds. sometimes it can end at 80,90 pounds..
shipping is almost double the price despite being using Vpost. :(

How do you get them to use vpost?? Can save on shipping?

Worth it bro! This processor uses very little chemicals. Does your's come with the motor?

I don't have the Ilford drum, but I did ask a few sellers, and it seems that it doesn't seem to have them. The Unicolor drum do turn up once in a while. But for it to be really useful, a motorized roller is also needed. The motorized roller can be used to roll the Paterson tanks as well, thus halving the amount of solution needed - very useful!

35GBP for the orbital processor is a great steal!

All print drum lays the film on the wall of the drum, so they uses little chemical. Do be reminded that the chemical is oneshot if you uses it with the min required capacity. That is why I suggested developing with the maximum capacity the drum can hold if you want to save chemical. (For mine is 500ml) Until there is a very little change in the contrast, you can start using the chemical as a one shot. I think no one read my post, too vege bird liao. :'(

For those who shoot 0 - 4 sheets per week like me, you can consider this (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/25422-REG/Jobo_J2820_Test_Print_Drum_for.html).

I am using it currently with a roller not intended for this drum (Just use something to block it from falling off the roller can use liao). I tired handrolling before and it works as well ;p.

No motor else the cost will be higher. You just request the seller to ship it to the UK address that the Vpost assigned to you. Better still you go and register as a ebay.co.uk user and use the vpost address as your address in ebay uk. Then you will be allow to bid any items that is only open to UK ebayers.

how much did i save? The seller told me it will costs 99 GBP to ship to Singapore using UK Royal Mail!!! In the end I paid 5GBP to the seller to ship to VPostUK and 55GBP to vpost to ship to Singapore.

What developer are you using and at what ratio? I never reuse my HC110 developer. Only the fixer is reused. I store the fixer in a collapsible container.

I mix HC110 1:7 for standard developing. 5ml HC110 + 35ml water is enough to develop. My bottle of HC110 use till now still got alot.

The one I keep reuse are stuff like E6 chemical, B&W reversal bleach, re-fogging developer, self mixed fine grain developer... etc etc. Any old mixing I tested and done and find it good, I keep for reuse.

Hello Wootsk , can you advise me why some Sinar F comes with round rail and some with the square/wedge rail?

The round one more modern of course.

Square/wedge rail...

I don't remember seeing any Sinar "F,"P","C" or "norman" system with such rail. Those guys uses a round rail which also allows easier stabilizing of of the camera on the tripod. (For me at least it is easy to stable the rod and clamp it) I did saw sales before in the Largeformatphotography.info B&S where there is a sinar with a more special shaped rail (Looks something like Master Billy Calumet rail). But if I am not wrong, it is an "A" system.

Hope it helps Boss Nikkornos.

Vege Bird.
