I won it at US$187.50 ( excluding freight charges ).

The center filter is the schneider #3 filter.
Yes, it is the +1.5 EV version, specifically dedicated to use with my 75mm lens ( exact lens thread fit ).

There is one selling here in CS, but the owner priced it as $500 or best offer. little bit high for me.

see you later:)
Billy

How much does the filter cost on evilbay? Did you get the one with 1.5EV compensation? I'm still wondering whether I should get one...

bro, do you have the exact address of SengCheong ? I like to visit there..
thanks
You can try Seng Cheong in Singapore. I just came back from there.... hee hee hee

US$187.50 is a good steal. Congrats Billy.:)
Bringing 617 for Lower Pierce shoot later. You'll see how bad the vignetting is on my Roden 90mm lens.:(

Cool stuff.

just visited photohub. They are also selling E6 chemicals ( 5 bottles , excluding stabilizer ).
5 litter per order. cost about S$300 ( will find out exact cost later ).

I cannot consume so many, anyone here is interested in sharing and splitting up the cost ?

wah! that means really a lot for one person to take all unless you're shooting in large volume.

I dont mind buying some to experiment but where to get stablizer.

Lolz, I expected that question. Since a lot of people are asking the same question when I told them about E6 steps.

You don't really need a Stablizer, you can use Photoflo for replacement. If you see the chemical compound of Stablizer, it is Formaldehyde + Kodak Photoflo 200 + water. If you read from wiki, your Stablizer is what they call the final rinse. It doesn't have any effect of color protection so your best bet is still a freezer if you are planning to keep the slide for many many years.

sweet :)

i hope photoflo is available easily!

then i dont mind some..

I have the notes printed for how to mix the whole E6 set including Stablizer. Unless you bring that in, self mixing will need a dangerous chemical license (forgot the name for chemical storage in well ventilated area away from water source) as Formaldehyde 37% is very very dangerous in an enclose room. (H2SO4 and HCL are peanut in danger level to this)

You can use Ilfotol which ruby brings in. (Any wetting agent will do actually as the main point is just wetting agent...)
Vege bird gonna mix his new batch of chemical before Saturday, guess he will mix the first 2 first. Getting more and more noob so need more sleep ;p)

:) just got back my 6x12 slides from photohub... will post some shots this evening.

For those who are keen, I understand Orient Photo can also send your E6 slides back to China for processing and back! I'm not sure how much they charge though.
