Now i know why last time I tried to wash slides with lots of dust particles returning from fotohub they all turned foggy left me shocked until it dried...:think:
flat on negative or flat images after scanning ?
if flat on negative, it might be your development method. are you doing standing development ? i found stand development gave me flat negatives.
my development cycle :
HC 110 dilution B at 20degrees
development : 8 minutes continuous agitation
water stop bath : 2 minutes
fixer : 6 minutes
washing : 30minutes
More agitation will increase contrast and grain. Grain is not really a issue here since Shanghai film is a fine grain film.
if negative is ok but scan turned up to be flat then do a level or curves adjustment

Haha, I actually didn't open the tank until much later, was busy cleaning up the toilet, when I pulled the slides out it looked fine already.

put inside a ziplog bag, then a layer of black plastic bag... BIG WORDINGS " FILMS " on the masking taped ( both sides )

Put in slide sleeves, I got those single slide sleeves and I put them in the film box then into freezer and it sleeps there until I need it.

My suggestion is to camp for a freezer from craglist or some other sites like kiasu parent. I gotten my freezer for around 200SGD only. I got a friend who drives a van and he helps me pick up the freezer. Sell off a lens will do the trick.
Just need to find a space to put it, haha. My parents will kill me if I suddenly brought a fridge home.

guys side track a bit. Where can i buy those push on lens caps? tried calling seng cheong but no one pick up.
haha ..I also trying not to take up too much stuff for photography..else some1 else will kill me. Photography is just a part of my life, not my whole life.

Just be warned that their packaging is lousy and the liquid may leak after poor handling. they also send the wrong kit (the C41) to me the first round but they sent me the right one after that. Therefore i got both C41 and E6 kits for the price of a E6 kit. haha
