You must sit down meditate and call upon the great WHITE AH NEH to appear before you, only then he will choose to appear or not. If he doesn't appear, means you not white enough must go for bleaching liao :D

Catch no ball.

:bsmilie: Ask the WHITE AH NEH to explain to you. :bsmilie:

Its getting circular cos If I can't find him, and your explanation to find is vague, then how to ask?

Who should I ask?

WHITE AH NEH IS..... *drumroll*

Did the person coin up his own label? If not, shouldn't the question be more properly directed at the author of the title?

any technical reasons for the 'grey' colour?

Canon uses white to keep the lens 'cool' so the flourite element can retain it's optical properties.

Nikon use some form of same material?

I think Nikon just wanna copy the successful Canon "L" series lor.

Why white body and red (or green) rings ?

Can't their smart designers have another color to use ?

Even Nikon users call this "L" lenses and not "A" or "Z" lens or something.... which smells like a wannabe to me.

Come lah, get the real McCoy lah. Join the white side of the force.
