actually, it's not really a bulb. It's a table lamp from ikea that's got these holes on top of the cover. Because this lamp is flexible (as in adjustable), i placed it very low and shot it against a white piece of paper to get the backlight effect.
i then used an orange to black gradient map in PS to get the orange tone and used the multiply blending mode in a layer to create more contrast.
