pity about the clouds though , otherwise it would've been a round sun setting!

what is meant by 'backlit'? It looks to me the light is in front, in what way is it 'backlit'? :think:

the sunlight was from the back and because the leaf is translucent, the light was shining through. so it looks like front-lit, but the sun was actually at the back of the leaf
