Hi, Dun rush to buy any kite frist, all these kite have their own characteristic, their pull also quite difference. and the line for all these kite also no cheap. you need to buy the correct string & reel. you need to lean how to control kite first, when you hang a weight on a kite line, the response again difference. you can try fly a small (2.7-3.3 meter) delta kite first.

And then how big should this kites be?

2.5 to 3.5 sq meter.
