Just wondering what camera you use? GoPro?

I use both Canon S95, Canon & GoPro 960 & GoPro Hero 2.

Ever lost your kite and also your camera?

No, but my Canon IXUS 85 dive inside a pond for few seconds, but still usable after dry up. (during testing pharse)

I am keen to try but worried about the lost of my equipment.

Best if you have 1-2 years flying experience in 2-4 meters kite. and do alot of research & practice before you start to send your camera to the sky.

Btw, how long is your kite string? From some pics I judge the string to be few hundreds meters long? Also what string are u using?

I used 250lb Kevlar line, because max pull for my KAP kite are 100lb & 150lb. total length of 500-600m.

you must have strong arms to tackle such a long string and weight. can you fly your kite in CBD area? I saw some pic are around there somewhere.

Actually, the pull also depend on how strong is the wind ....... usually not so tough la～

mrtimtion, the cost to do KAP depend on also of factors... like the weight/type of camera, wind condition... etc.

can be range from S$150-$1500.

Are you sure flow form is suitable for KAP in local wind condition?
