So much rumour but nothing came.

Anyone knows how much it costs?
About S$1.4-1.5k locally, from Tamron price list. Got mine for S$1.2k shipped from Adorama 2 years ago. Sharp even at large apertures, loud AF, AF speed is ok for non SDM lens. How about the Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 Di LD (IF) Macro? Except for the slow AF, seems to be very well liked @ pentaxforum.

Hey guys,
Would the 15-50 and 50-135 be a good place to start? Have been eyeing the K30 for some time now.
Thanks

tamron/sigma 70200 brand new is not that cheap almost same price as da*50135. unless u can get 2nd hand copy. if u tight budget get the DA18135 it will be a great way to start. if u really mo budget please dont disregard the kit lena too. DA1855WR at MTF F5.6 or F8 is a damn good landscape lens on the cheap.
dunno where u heard from but its not on the roadmap...

unless u're referring to the one thats supposed to come in 2013 but thats a different focal range as far as i can see...

In any case, I wish for 16-50 mark II f2.8 WR, this is a very important lens for my work. I need it to be fast AF and reliable with good centre sharpness wide open. I can wait.... especially the K3, perhaps they may have articulated LCD and better AF.
Agree with Posuer as I started out with the DA 18-55 before getting the DA*16-50 and now the DA18-135.
Hello, may I know how the DA18-135 fares compared to the 18-55 kit lens? Is it a noticeable upgrade?
