K20D and Manual Lens

faisalee and flowerpot,

what made you want to switch from Nikon to Pentax?
I was a K10D owner, but then switched to Nikon.
Now, I sold most of my gear, down to just one lens and flash (not even a cam body).
Here I am thinking about Pentax again.
The last time I switched was really the availability of lenses and other accessories on the forum. (I can buy and sell quite easily)
But, Pentax has some really nice and reasonably priced lenses.

why not ? i like to be different.

And YES... I found that NEW 50mm f1.2 lens is still available for Pentax !!! :lovegrin:

Actually I think the Voigtlander Nokton 58mm f/1.4 gives a strong challenge bokeh wise and most certainly price wise.

Actually I think the Voigtlander Nokton 58mm f/1.4 gives a strong challenge bokeh wise and most certainly price wise.

From all the comparisons and samples that I've seen, the V58/1.4 has pretty much the same bokeh as the Pentax A50/1.4 (which is alot cheaper)

ya... i think so too, thats whats holding me back on getting the V58 or CZ50...Pentax 50mm cheap and good...:thumbsup:

The K20D price is good, im not so sure about the tamron and the sigma,have to ask the rest of the bros here, anyway dun think u getting them rite ? just get the K20D lor...

Yup! I think, I will get the body only! no bag, memory card etc :cry:

Will get my friends to send a Tamron 17-50 from Japan hehe... Only costs $550 to me :lovegrin:

I just checked with my friend in Japan, he says the V58 1.4 is S$600 Brand New including shipment to Singapore :sweat:

why not get from our local Voigtlander agent Chiif, think its cheaper at $580 if im not wrong, comes with 1 yr warranty...

Okay guys... I managed to secure a K100D super body with 2GB card in mint condition @ 550 :thumbsup:

I will keep my D200 for some time until I am comfortable to switch to a K20D

Now given a choice, which one should I get... CZ 50 1.4 or VL 58 1.4 :lovegrin: ?
