What's wrong w/ Sony sensors? I don't really like the Samsung sensor in Pentax cameras so far: high iso performance is not the best, can't disable NR for long time exposure, sensor gets overheated easily when doing LV, sometimes even cause green lines...

Yup, but those 'problems' won't stop me from loving my K7.

Even given you a Samsung sensor, I'm sure you'd find something else to blame _

i thought the earlier sony implementations were quite bad. i've seen pictures out from my friend's camera... a bit... not to my taste..

newer samsung sensor doesn't overheat anymore (NX is live view all the way), 1600 ISO still the same as lousy, LE NR I think is firmware implementation. but I do agree, sometimes I do got some green banding on k-7 from time to time. But, nevertheless I wouldn't give a damn which sensor installed in my camera as long as it cater my needs.

..... too bad ........... I already have the NX10 and I can switch off the NR on that little thingy and before I forget .....................I still can't see the bloody LED readout on the Pentax in bright sunlight ..........
