Great shots of the fantails bro. Too bad I missed these scenes due to my tight travel schedule.

Nice shots of the Fantails!:thumbsup:

Pity that the picture is so messy. It was hidden behind multiple branches, and I couldn't seem to get a cleaner shot than this. Very happy with the find though

Nice shot...no way to shoot from behind?
Is it at JEG?

Thanks for the kind words, the shot could have been better though. I did try from behind, but it didn't work either, I actually explored 360 degrees around it :bsmilie:. It was in the middle level of the pine trees, so there were too many branches all around.

Its from Japanese garden. This was taken about 3 weeks back. I happened to see a lump, and thinking it was an owl, got all excited. Pointed it out to another gentleman who told me it was a nightjar. Haven't seen him since then until the recent sightings

Sharing two of my favourite shots. Probably because I love raptors that much, or it may have been because this Goshawk appeared right in front of me just when I was disappointed about not getting to shoot the Crested Serpent Eagle. Definitely made me a very happy person after that.

Here it decided to show off the origins of its name!

Nice shots of the Crested Goshawk!

Well done jeezuinn! :)

Here's my first non bird photo in this thread. Sometimes I get too engrossed in looking out for birds that I miss out on other animals around. Made it a point not to miss out on this handsome fella doing his 'push-ups' to attract the female haha!

Been trying to shoot this bird for a really long time. They are so small and fast, and often whenever I see them, they are either too high up, or they are already gone in the next second. Finally got to shoot not just the bird, but of them in flight. While the shots could have definitely been better, overall I'm extremely pleased with how they turned out. One of the hardest birds I've shot so far, having spent a good two days shooting, but definitely worth it :)
