Thanks Ted! Haha DD and I went shooting together, which explains our similar shots. I did however return as I was not satisfied with the earlier ones.Like the flight shots again...so far saw 3 similar bird flight shots haha. interesting...
Thanks Huat!nice shots
Thanks Seadog! I like nature in general especially reptiles(Some ppl say im weird) and birds, but sometimes I get distracted by all the beautiful birds that I neglect the other animals. Making it a point to spot other animals apart from birds. Hopefully I'll get to see more lizards/iguanas and other reptiles tooNice add-ons! Love the flight shots of the flowerpecker!:thumbsup:
Great to know another bro who likes lizards![]()
Great flight shots of the SBFP.
Hey Bart, yea I'm using D7100. All the SBFP shots were shot at ISO 2000. I definitely do not recommend using this setting, and I usually do not go above 1600 if possible, but for such a small and fast bird, I need quite a high shutter speed to try and freeze it mid flight. Does not help that the lighting wasn't good and haze reduced the brightness even further. The hardest part of shooting at high iso is the recovery of the details. If you managed to get a solid focus, you would lose less details during noise reduction.U r using d7100 rite.
May I know what's the iso for these pic.
Thanks David! Glad you liked them. Sadly I'm out of them liao. 2 days of shooting and these are all I got haha!Nice BIF series.... keep them coming....
Thanks Ted! Yeah enough is never enough haha. The difficulty of it, and time spent trying to capture the right moment makes it especially rewarding!Beautiful BIF, guess you will never have enough :bsmilie:
Nice added on shots.
More shots of the same bird. Really enjoyed photographing her, though it was pretty tiring.
