I presumed the radioactivity in the water is a result of beta decay from tritium, a radioisotope of hydrogen. The equivalent dose absorbed by the human body upon contact should be extremely insignificant since even tritium is found in portable water naturally as all food sources in the world are "radioactively contaminated" to a certain extent since the first atomic weapon was detonated.another nuclear related incident. now this is just playing the blame game and all -.-
Canadian Nuclear Power Plant Leaks Radioactive Water
Really a non-issue, USS Houston (SSN-713) was berthed at Changi Naval Base (CNB) for 5 days in September 2006 when it incidentally discharged "radioactive water" from its reactor secondary coolant loop. The amount leaked was measured at 0.095 μCi (microcurie) which again is really negligible.
Hello, you'll want to inject saline into somebody's vein not splash water all over his body. The water pour from helicopters look inaccurate. They need this.
