The group photo session took longer than usual due to the big turnout and some late (with apology) comers. Thanks to FW who was so patient with all of us...

"Man! How do you use this remote?"

Pentax K20D w FA31

Haha, I guess the remote is just too small to my big hands :bsmilie:

Feng Wei, your films protrait rocks ....very good:thumbsup:

Films is still damn good. esp the france family protraits.

The lovely lady is taken already but I'll have the K-M please!:bsmilie:

Goodness Fengwei, you intentionally let your battery die so you can take that series of street shots, right? :thumbsup:Even though I was with you and See Fei, I have yet to learn to overcome my fear of taking pictures of people. there was this little girl held by her father, I tried to take them from behind when she looked backwards. Followed them for 10m but the girl did not turn around again..sigh...

Nonetheless, FW's shots VERY GOOD! make me go :o

Thanks for your nice comments. Although I still enjoy shooting digital more, sometimes shooting film is quite fun too. But I think next time I'd still use a manual camera. W/ auto camera, I probably will get more shots easily, but I just don't have the feel of shooting film

Gorgeous man, just gorgeous.

You do more justice to the 10-20 than I ever did, for those wide angles shots.

Which LR preset by the way? Can share? :)

Still haven't finished the film roll, so.. nothing to show, haha!

I had visualized the shots ever since I saw the street shots from other photographers. And thanks to you, my vision has come true.

I'm using this preset.

Baracus

Wow your photos quite awesome! Must learn a bit from you on street photography!!

I'll be uploading some photos tonight.

Thanks. It's nothing special. Just have your camera at the ready and find some unsuspecting victims at the opportune moment. People usually have their guard down when you're shooting from the hip. (But my K10D shutter is too loud!)

Look forward to your take on Chinatown. Hope the maiden outing wasn't intimidating for you.

Wow! Those are some nice contrasty photos! Love them, and those black and white conversions look great too

Thanks boss. Your film shots make me wanna break out my SLR. (But it's a C***n though)

Used to have a Canon Elan II E film SLR camera too, but sold it in favor of a Pentax p&s camera: Espio 928 film camera :) That's about 11 years ago, when I started to use Pentax cam :)

Thanks for sharing, but those don't look like from a Pentax cam ;) You sure you posted them at the right place?

Wah, All so nice! Mine not ready until Thursday morning leh. Just sent in this morning.

Wah.. nice man... teach me!

There are a few methods to do it, like flowerpot mentioned, either zoom in or zoom out with slow shutter speed using a zoom lens, prime lens will be move camera forward or backward. This all required a steady hand and a lot of practices. The easiest is post processing method.:bsmilie: which what i did here using the blur in PS.

wow, the whole series is interesting, especially this one :bsmilie: can you email me the uncompressed file of the photo?

Bro, check your email.;)

very surreal. not a single soul on the street so near CNY. nice jutapoxation!!

When i was taking this pic, there is actually one photographer on that stage taking some pics. I waited for him to go off... Oh yeah and you saw me and honk at me...:bsmilie:
