can i go Canan Service Centre to get 1-to-1 xchange since it is close to my office?

i do not give the shop the camera till there is stock for 1-to-1 exchange rite? just in case they keep my camera and act blur...keke...

will calling Canon Singapore to make noise help? i.e. make Canon deliver to the shop faster?

actually, it doesnt matter lar. you probly wouldn't use the viewfinder anyways. hehe.

but yes, i understand that it's the fact that you bought it brand new and it should be perfect in every way even though you won't ever use it.

agree la... at least the camera is working and the viewfinder is working too, just that since it is brand new( like u said), of course I would wan the problem to be fixed..if all else fail, still has Canon warranty.......keke

Hey I got the same problem man... and mine looks worse. But overall camera still works fine. Should I change?

Anyway I feel that QA for this camera quite bad in terms of construction (note that it does not seem to affect camera operation). I had to change the set once coz' there LCD was slanted to one side i.e. you see more gap on one end.

Well if it is going to be your only camere, then i will say G7 for the controls you have when taking a photo.

If it is to go along with your DSLR or prosumer PnS, then Ixus 850 for the size and convenience.

personally i prefer 850 over 900
in terms of zoom feature and wide angle and the IS....these features are enough to pwned

if youre looking at the angle where 900TI is better....
i would say that it comes witha solid body chasis ( titanium), better Megapixel, and the battery
compartment is much firmer compared to the IXUS 850IS which i consider quite flimsy
