So that if you use a VR lens you can basically have X-Y and roll controls by just moving the camera up-down, left-right and tilting CW and CCW? ;p Basically more than enough control for playing a simple flight sim game? ;p

BTW, Sony annnounced A700, wonder if it's using a similar sensor as D300 since it also boast on chip ADC. No liveview though..

Because DX is just a crop. That's why we call 135 format and don't care if people want to use the entire frame or they want to crop. Same thing why D2X is DX format and not DX-HSC format.
