Bought the I-discovery battery available from SEAsia Computer shop in Funan.

The battery can't even fit into the E-P1 !!!! And I thrown away the receipt so can't ask for refund. Sh*t!!!!

Don't buy the i-discovery battery!!!



Now... anyone can loan or lent me a battery for the E-P1 for a couple of days? Going for trip and don't think the 2 batteries can last me the whole day.

Oh my, why dont you give the shop a call first to see if they are gona changed it for you. Just a phone call, no harm trying

Just thinking out loud - I'm wondering, if there is even a chance to mount the 20/1.7 pancake on a regular 4/3 body.. My gut feeling tells me that the chance is slim... :dunno:

after slightly more than 1 month, Harvey Norman finally called me to give me the good news of E-P1's arrival. So long until Panasonic released new model already. Feels so lousy. seems like getting some out-dated machine. BUT after briefly reading the dpreview, i still stand by my E-P1. =]

I am so glad to know that the episode is finally over. Let's get together for coffee sometimes. Or come hang out with us one of the days at one of the outings. Must pat pat your white beauty. So much pain to get it, but its worth it. :bsmilie:

Hi there. sounds like a familiar situation i was facing. also 'pre-ordered' and waited 1 mth plus from HN. I was on waiting list with MS Colour which called me to say the stocks arrived already but i already 'pre-ordered' from HN cuz of the freebies and no additional amts paying with credit cards. So, i would have gotten it earlier if i didn't pre-order with HN. good luck on that. i feel ur frustration.
as for the free batt i'm not too sure either, registered online, waiting for Oly to get back on my application.

From what I understood, the E-P1 free 2nd battery for e-club members promotion has been extended till end Sept. I believe it is partly due to the overwhelming demand vs ready supplies and also some form of promotion that I foresee possible in the coming week's Comex show.

Hi guys. Jus some updates on the EP1 battery promotion. Jus went down to oly repair centre at valley point yesterday. Jus need to register for E club, pay 45 and u will get the battery on the spot. Then they'll send u an oly cap and polo t's via mail. Good deal I think.

Currently,as far as i know,not avilable in singapore as lens only,and not many people letting go,but i think i saw B&H selling as lens only,can have a look there

I got my E-P1 a couple of weeks ago, didn't buy the flash to go with it and now I'm somewhat regretting. Somewhat stupid question here - does anyone know if I can get the flash now at the special price of 257 or can I only get this at 308? Is the flash worth getting?

Skip the FL14 for now ... or at least til they give a solution (firmware?) for the pretty kuku performance with the flash. I shoot in A mode. Very often I get way overexposed/underexposed pics when using the flash. I'm clinging on to mine ... hopeing there will be a fix someday ... or maybe it works better later with E-P2. :sweat:
