.... my favourite lens to go with the E-P1 is not from the m.Zuiko selection, it's actually the combination of the 25mm pancake and the 40-150mm from the regular four thirds line-up. These two combine make a very versatile walk-about kit and they are in my bag wherever I go. The 17mm goes along too, but I find that I prefer the 25mm a lot more.... hope Oly can come up with lenses of similar focal lens for the micro 4/3.
Aki-akashi only sells black leatherette, though they display the others.

Hey. I just got the EP-1 but I dun see anywhere that shows that by registering I will get a free battery...though the sales person told me the promo is still on. I dun wanna waste $45 registering and not getting a free batt.
Advise anybody?
Jus go down to Oly center at Valley Point, register and pay on the spot and get battery instantly.

And oh, BTW, I bought it at Paris Silk Holland Village Zoom Lens Set. $1206 w/GST. Only freebie is a lousy 8GB SD Card. And the staff serving me wasn't that professional. I think he know nuts about cameras.

Tried the same battery on another E-P1 and it fits!
Seems that there's some sample variation in the size of the E-P1 battery compartment.
Best store is also selling the I-discovery battery.
Potential buyers may just wanna try the battery before buying.

I have been reading threads connected to Oly all-day-long now and I think I am about to get one, but still have two questions.
1. Which kit (pancake or 14-42) would you suggest me? I will use it mainly for shooting buildings(sightseeing), family reunions (i'd say party, but that can be missunderstood). And may I ask why?
2. In one or two replies i've read that Lumix lens on Pen AF little faster than Zuiko? Which one? Cause the Zuiko cost as half as Vario lenses as I have seen here in Europe
I've seen you got a very cool pen community here so I said to myself: this guys are enough experienced with Pen that they will certainly know what will be appropriate for me, kinda newbie guy.
