Anyone gotten the OLY leather case & strap?
The brown leather is sold out in Yodo & BIC and stocks avail in mid-August. They are lowest priced so far abt 8000+ yen
I tried to order from Amazon Jp but they do not ship to Singapore for these items. Amazon also abt 8000+ yen slightly higher
The rest around 10000+ yen

Right now, am putting the E-P1 into a Nat-Geo belt pouch that can fit the cam with the pancake attached....

I agree,or with people playing with the pen the first time,they do not know how to use it,they might just force the thing to turn which will in turn cost $$$ to repair for something stupid,anyway...Why is it that you prefer it to be locked in close position? Using it in the few days I have,the lens didn't accidentally rotate out

Good to know that there is enough resistance to prevent accidental rotation out. Agree with the points on how it is "idiot proof"

well, tokyo toyz provide shipping to sg without the vpost hassle. But i am not sure if the price difference is worth the extra trouble.

I think it's about $1400 with the viewfinder..

BTW how can I tell if the SSWF is working? The manual says it activates on every startup, but the SSWF indicator hasn't blinked once since I've had my E-P1...

Something wrong then. The SSWF indicator will blink with a blue light every time you start up.

Nope, no blinking. ;( I just got it and now it has to go back. Oh well, if they replace it hopefully the new one doesn't come with a scratch out of the box

finally got my ep1(silver) @HN...$1298. seems like a good deal to me..free 16gb sdhc, battery, screen protector...
got $30 from the scratch cards...so extend my warranty for 3yrs with $30 discount.
paid by credit card and clock sm points on it...
register online...so total 3batteries...!

reading e manual now....
