The moderator actually close someone's thread because the Thread Starter was having fun with his newly purchased lens, and posted some shots here.

My question here is :
Is having fun with a lens , and posting some shots using the lens consider as an offense here in ClubSnap ?

Well, i think up to Post 7, everything is fine, but Kit forgets that there is some people in CS have very very fragile ego... if someone don't wanna listen, move on. Am i standing on Kit's side? not really... but i am rather amused by the last post from jcho.

Seriously thou, there are some ppl here who just can't take comments, so my suggestions to them is, since like to have fun, then click shutter, since like to upload online, then upload, then like to put inside forums then put lor... but if dun wanna have ppl comment, close it lor... like i say purpose served. ego remain intact.

To TS of this thread... u got anything that need clarification. Just pm me.

When we post, we can think of a better way to put the message across. Saying "this is not very beautiful and can be improved" and saying "this is ugly" might mean the same but has very different effect.

I think I don't have to comment on the previous posts already, and I Del_CtrlnoAlt meant well in closing this thread to prevent a war. On the other hand, this post will not exist if he can put down the reason why he closes this thread.

Just my 2 cents worth of thought. It is never easy to be a moderator. :sweat:

I believe the clousure is right.
Perhaps the delivery might not have been so appropriate. But it is never easy to be a moderator. Been there, done that. As long the intentions are correct, I personally will not fault the moderator.

Anyway, its my own personal opinion. If anyone is offended, then I apologise in advance.

usually I suggest thread starters either lock the thread after photos posted, everyday morning post a upz and lock the thread again.

state welcome positive comments and praises only.
