Correct as in?
The mod writes :
since u're happy with it, then i'll close the thread for u... since your purpose served.
The moderator actually close someone's thread because the Thread Starter was having fun with his newly purchased lens, and posted some shots here.
My question here is :
Is having fun with a lens , and posting some shots using the lens consider as an offense here in ClubSnap ?
I believe this is the best way to stop things going to be ugly.
Well, I think at this end of the day, it is always communication and how people interpret.
When we post, we can think of a better way to put the message across. Saying "this is not very beautiful and can be improved" and saying "this is ugly" might mean the same but has very different effect.
I think I don't have to comment on the previous posts already, and I Del_CtrlnoAlt meant well in closing this thread to prevent a war. On the other hand, this post will not exist if he can put down the reason why he closes this thread.
Just my 2 cents worth of thought. It is never easy to be a moderator.
Thanks again I shoot just for fun, buy this lens also for fun and post also for fun. (BTW I am not a believer of luck you can keep it)
it is not the first time, and it won't be the last time too. Some people just cannot take comments or remarks.
If so, what for post your pictures in a forum? :dunno:
it is not the first time, and it won't be the last time too.
usually I suggest thread starters either lock the thread after photos posted, everyday morning post a upz and lock the thread again.
