close by mods/admins, then cannot reopen, but self closed can be reopened.

but if i see this kinda stuff happening, sooner or later, i will make sure the thread get closed permanently.

wonder why u guys wanna come in here and fight day in day out... have REAL FUN, dun play with yourself and have 'fun'

I just feel this forum has a lot of barriers for newbies who wan to post pics.. For example, im one of those...

I mean, its a simple thing, there are a lot of kinds of ppl in this world..
1) Some just wan to take photos and not share..
2) Some just wan to post or share, dont wan comments..
3) Some might just wan to post, seek opinions and improve, but dont wish to have a slam down comments...
4) Some can take any kinds of comments....

For me, personally, i think my photos are far from most guys here, although i seek for improvement, there is never once i thought of putting my photos up... I would really appreciate if some ppl can give me some comments or pointers on what is wrong and where to improve..
But I dont think i will feel nice if ppl criticise the photos or worst still, say until it seems like the pics not even fit to clarify as a photo which i have put effort in....
I mean if anyone who wish to help someone to improve, the tone and the way they say is very important...

If the way is too harsh, there are only 2 results...
1) The newbie will take it well and improve as the time goes by...
2) The newbie just forget about posting or seeking help in forum anymore.. (I dont think a forum should be this way)


This is a suggestion, I hope mods can consider about it..
If my suggestion is too ridiculous or impossible, Im sorry and please ignore this suggestion of mine...

I hope the Photo Galleries will be free of those harsh comments...
Harsh comments will only be allowed in another section, example like Critique Corner which allows harsh or criticise comments which people who post inside can take harsh comments...
I think this will help a lot of people like newbies who really wish to improve..
Like what some people said, this kind of things is not the 1st time, and wont be the last too...

before post an image, best is do some self critique first, once you post it, others may show you some areas that you have miss, or refuse to see.

you should thank people who willing to spend time see your photos and write their comments honestly.

have you ever heard about a Chinese idiom: "good medicine are bitter"?

sugar coated comments are just simply blind you, you will never never get improved for receiving such comments.

if the newbie is of variety 2, then he should grow up.

the world is not a nice place, and while we can try to be nice, it doesn't make a difference in the long run. there is nothing sadder than someone who is deluded about his ability, let alone having someone else egg him along.

if he is looking for praise, then better to show the picture to family members, they will always be nice, i hope.
