Is Photography the ONLY (high-expenditure) past-time you have?

So far. Photography has been my hobby since young. But I temp gave up when I got no money.hehe. (But still taking picture)

Then I like to cycle. Cycle here and there then I gave up. Coz I start work. (But still taking pictures)

Then I rear fish. Actually been rearing since kid but this time on my own money. But the amount I spend thanks to flowerhorn was like in 5yrs I spent total 6Ks. Sheesh. But in the end I gave up. Though I love fishes. So only spent time in Fish Farm and ogle at them. hahah. (And still taking pictures)

Then I start cycling again and tried Downhill(At Gangsa Hill). Boy was it fun as hell. But after that, I started to get bored. And lots of bruise and cuts. I sold my bike and all the equipment. (Again still taking pictures)

I smoke...sheesh. I got HBP. and its a Bad combi. My Medical and price of ciggarette already cover 40% of my salary. Trying to give up, only myself to blame. It also disrupting my performance at work.(Again taking pictures on free time)

So In the end, which hobby I didnt gave up? Photography. Yeah, some said its an expensive hobby but once u in it for the love, then there is no stopping. Oh even though the girl that I got to know is trying to stop me from this hobby coz I didnt have any free time with her.haha. Always quarrel coz of this...and we're not even a couple. haiz.

Also I got a motorbike whom I called my wife.haha. Been touring Malaysia with her. But nowadays, been bz with work. So didnt get the chance to go touring. Only use as work bike right now. Its not expansive taking care of her coz she doesnt break down easily. XD

Sometimes, photography has risen to become a need more than a want... Loose the smoke, dude, you may live longer and more $$ to enjoy Photography and everything else worth living for! :bsmilie:

So there has been holes in my collections due to that. I have been collecting since the first series.

And we all curses Wonderfest Special Release and those bundled product with Nintendo, XBox or Playstation. Worse still are those bundled with DVD Region2 only sold in Japan. The damn thing cant go pass customs cos Media Authority will ask if it is censored.

Alter is another brand which I buy from time to time.
MaxFactory, GoodSmileCompany, etc too.
LiquidStone is soo evil.

I do collect "expensive plastic" from Japan too. Trying to stop now, not juz coz of the costs, but becoz running out of space to store/display them.

Nendoroids can be damn addictive though.

Had to google what this was... I can see that this can consume a lot of shelf space. In terms of excessive, isn't there a guy that has to rent an HDB to store all his model kits?

Isn't it cheaper to rent warehouse space?? Not surprising at that news actually, since I do know a few kit-hoarders myself. Collecting is a form of addiction, the more you collect the more you WANT to collect. In the end, it fills up your already precious limited space. And it isn't just "expensive plastic" or model kits, have you seen the Hello Kitty collectors? Or the Precious Moment collectors? It never ends... That's why Photography is a safer form of collection (of images), that is until you started to get crazy with lens and body collection, and when you start to print like crazy... LOL

Talking about watch.. I bought one about 7 years ago.. Seiko, Kenetic, Water Resist 200M.

Knock here and there and still going strong.. sent for servicing last year.

I love it... very much better than other so call sports watch!
