You must be refering to deep-sea fishing right? Do longkang or lake fishing require such expenditures? Not entirely familiar with that hobby myself.

I have friends who buy rods that cause thousand and use it on lakes. They travelled to Japan just to source for the special edition lures.:bsmilie:Now I called that fanatics !

I think in any hobby there will be fanatics, you just need to identify with who they are.

I'm in another hobby that fanatics aren't lacking either. They don't spend as much $$ but the time they spend on doing it - that would equate to much $$ too!

i'm erm. i got other stuff that i'm interested in. photography is the only thing artistic in a sense.

physics is artistic too. currently my fav past time is to try and solve einstein's relativity qns. quite fun and beautiful the ans.

ahhhhh.

and i spend the most on physics. all the tb, pencils, pens etc. more than wad i buy for camera!

Don't remind me of Juliets.... loss one pair years ago. Nowadays, I stick to plastic models which I could bring out to sea. And NO.... I'm not 'crazy' enough to spent well over $1K on the Pit Boss, nice as it is. :sweat:

While US is much much cheaper.... they don't sent to S'pore.... could be a marketing issue with the solo agent here. Don't think Vpost could help. I got a friend who have some US friends who would buy and sent the Oakley over.... and my friend makes a small profit from it. Got my Custom RADAR for $370 when S'pore selling for $425++ and can't ask for Custom Made model.... :sweat:

I won't be surprised... Porcelains and ceramics are part of the higher circle of art appreciation... I recalled seeing the news about some super thin ceramic bowl whose shape could be deformed?? :bigeyes:

a pi ion is moving at a certain velocity K and another pi ion is at rest at lab frame. consider the minimum amt of velocity K for the creation of another Pi ion.

and method, i'll type the theory here. not too good at the maths yet. still learning.

consider the pi ion and the other pi ion to be moving at the same speed to each other. (aka take the center of mass frame)

now let those 2 fellows collide, momentum=0 when they hit.
with the loss of kinetic energy, the energy is converted totally into the new pi ion.

since ur ke=1/2 mv2, now u can solve for v in the com frame.

using the same v, bring it out using relativity, which i dnu wanna type out cause its damn long.

and u get the speed of the pi ion at the lab frame. and tat speed is ur minimum K

Ha Ha, my uncle still have the 1st handphone that telecom (now singtel) gave to him. Hope he would give it to me someday. The oldest phone i have is the ericsson 388 and the newest a Nokia N900. Getting a HTC legend next week. :bsmilie:
