I think my b+w filter from CP (not OP) has the words 'Made in Germany' at the ring. Quite large font too :P Can anyone confirm what it says for the b+w filter from OP?

Anyway, I don't think any reputable company would lie about where it's made.

As for my "Slim-version B+W Cir-PL" bought(my 1st & only one B+W) from OP is stated on the ring by Germany, as well as the rest of my B+Ws from CP too.:)

Since my Hoya filter came out from the rim, i've since changed to B+W and so far never happen before. Currently also testing Schneider filter, which also produce B+W.:)

hi sorry for all the late replies. i've since brought all my b+w filters from CP. none of them crack. can somebody teach me to post some photos into CS?
tried going to OP for a exchange after 5 days, before that went to CP brought 1 from there, totally different. the salesman even offered to throw it on the glass table and nothing happened. that's why i brought one which is original for 120. whereas the fake cost 110. 10 dollars more i get real thing. and OP lady boss says CP is selling old stocks of the B+W filters.i even had it recorded. anyways wanna hear our convo. do PM me. thanks

Huh you mean the ones OP are selling are fakes??

Read up... I think there is some official reply that it is "meant for other target markets".

not fake, but in fact, third world grade. they're saying that CP selling old stocks, that is in fact tougher as it's brass Ring

What is third world grade?? Arent they all from Schneider Optics?

OP are the ones saying they're selling old stocks. no, they're all b+w but manufactured by different companies, i think.

:) waseh... think OP went over the line this time

You'd think OP doesn't know what they're doing after reading all this. Doesn't inspire confidence in their shop at all.

Well... If you examine it a little closer, such trends and behaviour is characteristic of quite a number of new companies trying to bust in on an established market. *shrug*. Maybe the culture in our country and as well as their home countries have made the situation as such. :dunno:
