Irresponsible Photographer

there are many reasons why someone dun answer calls, let's say, if i kenna accident and hospitalised unconscious, think i will answer the call? if detained by police for 48 hours, cannot make phone call right? if I am overseas and kenna kidnapped, i cannot answer phone call right?

haha ..... even if we die, someone will answer our phone ... right? there is one word to describe such behaviour >>>> IRRESPONSIBLE!

this is what the photographer tells us about himself in his site:

Hold your horses man!!! perhaps the photographer has a much bigger problem than yours. Did you check with him???

whether he has a bigger or smaller problem, the photographer should inform the couple in advance, so that they can find a replacement. Even if he does not want to do the job, then don't put people on "aeroplane".

2 different photographers kenna accident or kidnapped at the same time over a period of 3 days? The odds of kenna 4-D is lower than this. :bsmilie:

Wow.. Looks like everybody is really for a lynching session.

Shouldn't we be more measured in our response since we are not the ones involved and do not have the full facts.

We can all understand why affect on the people can be quite tramatic and emotional, especially on the biggest event of their lives, but there is no reason for everyone to go off the edge.

The poster obviously want to grind the axe, and it would seem most right for her to spread/create as much trouble for the so-called culprit who created her pain. Is this the result she wants to achieve? Maybe the culprit couldn't care less, and goes on with his life. Do you want to be the most miserable person around? For $100? The therapy alone could cost a lifetime.

Go to CASE, go to small claims, get it over with. It will be better for u, better for the spouse. As for the culprit, he can go to Hell for all u care. Right?

As for the rest, go shoot.

Hi Everyone,

My wedding is last saturday, 25 Jun and my morning was spoilt by the photographer which i enagaged. :cry: He didnt turned up on my AD, he played me out n I called him the whole day on the Friday n Saturday. Luckily i got my sister group n my colleague to help me to take some shots. My brother got his friend to help me the very last min n he agreed and turn up too which i am very grateful to him. All brides want their wedding to turn out well n nothing goes wrong but there is some irresponsible people who is out there to spolit the day. All the preparation are nearly ruin by these type of stupid irresponsible people.

I enagaged a freelance photographer whose name is KAH HENG n he is not free on 25th as i last min change my wedding date n he got me another one whose name is ROY WONG n i got his website n HP too. On 24th I called both of them but both of them refuse to answer my call. I called KAH HENG on 27th n the number is not in use. Wat kind of irresponsible man is he?!?!? I pay a deposit of $100 already, money is not a big issue. Wat i am angry and upset abt is he dun answer my call or give me a ring to tell me anything. He ruin my big day. Can anyone put themselves in my shoes n try to understand how i feel? I am so angry & sad !!!! : angry:

First of all, congrats on ur newly wed.

Unfortunately, there are many of such black sheeps going around. Dun say run away with deposit, some probably go to the extent of collecting payment and not delivering goods at all! Disappearing completely immediately after the wedding!

Perhaps if this Kah Heng chap would stand up to make his views known. He can have the skills of Russell Wong for all we care. But if he doesn't bother clarifying things to people on his attitude, his skills are still like that of a noob photographer.

Edited: BTW, thanks for this piece of info as well as the website. I've got good bud that's getting married soon. I'm eager to know who is her main photographer as well since I'm the backup guy. And unfortunately, my bud and her hubby usually have the 'luck' to run into bad photographers with no sense of professionalism... even for her ROM.

I'll take note of dis kah heng and roy chap. Hopefully I wun hear such names frm my bud's mouth.... :sweat:

Kah Heng is not an unusual name. I don't think they are the same person.

NO! This is not the same guy! The first names are the same but not the family name.........the 'Kah Heng' from Clubsnap doesn't do weddings.........Soh Kah Heng from this discussion is the same as 'Chris Soh'.......

Apparently if its juz an isolated case (really so sway both guys kena knock by car or wad. Can go buy Toto oredi), den I guess the photographer's answerable to the couple.

But this is like.... several couples liao? Jiat lat until tio blacklist kena lawsuit? I think this chap's answerable to the entire Singapore Photographer Community liao lest every photographer kena treated with disdain thereafter.

May be exaggerated, but this concerns the reputation of all photographers involved! Event coverage, bridal/wedding coverage, etc.
