IR outing 4th december sharing thread

fatigue, how do you personally find the 535nm?
Has it accomplish what you set out to accomplish with this filter?
Are there any other tips for this 535nm filter, any things that I have missed out?
And how else should I have Post processed by 535nm picture?
What about the use of 535nm on landscape? Have you any advice?

Sincerely awaiting your advice, fatigue.
thanks!

I don't know what to say. I'm suppose to install the 600nm filter but miscalculated the thickness. End up using the 535nm (a tip from Lizardojm).
In IR photography, I just started to run but you've just crossed the finish line.

So, shall we change the filter after one month?

Try using a CPL filter and achieve a few effect as you turn the CPL.
( a suggestion from an Indonesian friend ;) )

This is a general comments on all the photos I have seem in this thread so far .. not all photo share the same comments but generally this "rules" are "broken"

1) Background .. busy or distracting
2) Position of model not very ideal
3) Some too much empty spaces
4) Tilted horizon
5) Horizon/objects "cutting" across subjects head

Just share my thoughts

Cheers

Dear friends,

here are my humble IR-photogs of Dorothy. Shot with my IR-D70 (R72) and prime lens Nikon 50mm f1.8D.
This set will be sent to bro Ah Chua and Dorothy.
Pardon me as my images lack sharpness and contrast. I learnt my mistakes, should have shot at f2.8 instead of f4...

C & C are welcome. Will post the other 2 girls later. Cheers!
