iPhone 4 is OUT!

I just got the OS4 updated on my 3GS, lovely!

So technically speaking, if we dont close the apps, it makans battery pretty quick huh?

I did notice in your photos folder as well, the phone remember's where you took all the pictures around the World with drop pins on the world map.

I've had pins all over UK & China & Singapore, which was the places I have been lately with me Iphone.

I kinda like the folders the Iphone creates, makes the screen less cluttered.

You can select background wall papers for the home screen & lock screen as well.

Yes, but of all the fanciful stuff, nothing beats having a mobile phone that runs longer without having to put it on the charger. If the new OS is going to suck more juice out of it, I think I'll still roll back to the old OS.

Actually I quite like the new OS except the multi tasking?

I mean it is convenient to actually switch apps easily but it is also a pain to close them one by one to actually "save" the already not so fantastic battery life on the Iphone.

Maybe they should come up with the new OS that the apps close in the background themselves if not touched for 5mins? that would really save a lot of trouble really.

Yep. Because some apps will keep refreshing its data when opened, like Weather and Stocks for example. Having the ability to terminate them automatically after, say, 1 minute will greatly save the battery life.

Yep yep, hopefully the next update will fine tune such little details.

M1 & Starhub has started collecting public interest since last week, same like SingTel did it for 3GS.

Think it should be the OS update. When the first 3G batch first came, my phone also had reception issues (one or two bars). After the further OS updates it was fixed.

There is sthg about the antenna being located around the border of the phone so if u put on a cover... gd luck to the reception. :p

Doesn't matter. I for sure not going to upgrade. Besides the look and feel and retina screen, nothing much exciting. iOS 4 upgrade on the 3GS is good enough for me le. :)

Same Same!

I am also very contented with my OS 4 on 3Gs. :D

"Barely a week since the public got its hands on the iPhone 4, the first lawsuit over it has been filed.
Filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland on behalf of Kevin McCaffrey, Linda Wrinn, and others on Wednesday, the suit accuses Apple and AT&T of knowingly distributing a phone with a malfunctioning antenna. The iPhone maker and its exclusive carrier partner in the U.S. are accused of a laundry list of infractions, including: general negligence, defect in design, manufacture, and assembly, breach of warranty, deceptive trade practices, intentional and negligent misrepresentation, and fraud by concealment."
