I saw one 5600HS D flash at one Harvey Norman store selling for $627. Looks like a display set. Been there for months coz I keep checking it out.

Intend to get one but need your opinion on the price of this. Or should I wait for the Sony one.

if I were you, I will wait till Sony release its 5600 version and see if it is fully compatible with 7D or not. Or anyone confirm that KM 5600 flash is 100% compatible with their A-100.

I think the price is on the high side, I bought 2 from CSer for $490 each, locally should be around $560 or so.

i read somewhere in dpreview forums where there was a link for compatibility of flashes for minolta/sony cameras and the sony flash can work on 5d/7d also

Hi Bro, 627 is not really very good price. CP also sell this, may want to check it out. I recently bought a 1 yr old at 360.
