Interesting Minolta Items

Got a cheap lens just to try out....it's ok if you have time to manual focus, close down the aperture and then snap the photo. If you need to change aperture quickly and re-focus, need lots of practice to be able to do it quickly.

Thanks for advice, currently thinking of getting a cheap medium length prime with large apperture lens for portrait shots, so probably like to shoot at wide open or stop down a bit for sharpness only.

Currently thinking of:
Pentax Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 85mm f/1.8/1.9
Pentax Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 135mm f/2.5
Helios 85mm f/1.4
any other recommendation please?

errh... not really, you need a M42 adapter to do that, and Manual focus and aperture only, and it work on (old Pentax) M42 mount, not the current AF mount.

great shots in ur thread! would love to buy ur lens but a bit on budget....just bought a 400mm sigma apo lens on ebay....hope the results aren't too bad for the price....good luck in ur sales!

Saw a 7D, KM 17-35mm, Macro flash, 5600hs at CP.

Near CP(I think prime camera), I saw a D9 at $1800 with a lens but not VG. Saw a D7 with VG around $600-$700.
