My opinion, this picture is NOT GOOD. It's THE BEST in this thread so far.

Good color, good sharpness, good exposure. As ark19 pointed out, it would be better if crop off the leaves at bottom right corner.

Well done Pablo

Well Done!! Nice Pix Pablo

This is nice, simple and strong, at first I thought is shot at Changi Point, silly me. :embrass:

Hi Irman,
Don't mention it. You’re welcomed. :D

Maybe I have to shoot IR on my own. Can't join you guys for the outing for the time being.

thats what im thinking too...

very strong white/glowing colours

Thanks very much for your comments.
I have taken note about the branch in the lower right.

Yes the trees are in the water. They are growing in the passage that separates Bribie Island from the main land here.

Thanks again.

Hi guys, been following this very informative thread (thanks to the listmember who started it). Was able to get a Hoya IR72 and do some shooting yesterday. What do you think of this?

Yup, the IR filter's effect is really different from that of the unexposed developed ektachrome strip....

:)

Nice picture Conan. Looks like it was shot during an overcast. Trying to understand why the left side of the picture is darker than the right. Was it intentional? Where was this shot?

Hi guys, are we on for this weekend or should be wait for our friends to get their R72s first?

Hi Teerex, this was shot at some beach up north :) I think the left side must be darker because there's more infra-red light over there? Weather was overcast but the sun was out, and I noticed it was casting some light on the beach and the rocks...

:)

Hi Hosea,

Photoshop: Auto Level, Channel Mix.
Bribie Island is quite nice, fairly quiet.
It is on the east coast off Queensland,
about an hour and a half drive north from Brisbane.

P.S. Teerex, thanks for the comment, but I am not up to you guys yet.

Hmm.. that built-in flash enough for only short distance shots only ... turn to higher iso like 800 ( if you dont mind the grains).
