Images Samples from Lens for KM (Casual Shoots Welcome)


i take back what i said about there being nothing to shoot in pasir ris. on the way home from fireworks, i came across this praying mantis along the corridor. ran home to pick up the sigma 50mm 2.8 macro, here are some shots with that lens, practically no touch-up done to the images, only resized:

bro, I too have a copy of the 50mm macro Sigma...tht mean u were really close to the mantis when taking this picture yah? WOOOoooo... :bigeyes:

bought a macro lens today and tested it.. compared to my 2 other lenses, this one produce the best colour i suppose :D

nice colours, esp #3! now you've inspired me to go shoot macro at the florist shop! but watch out for the focus in #2..

thx, i bought the lens very cheap yet the color pretty nice.. actually i dont know where to focus in #2 i already used f8 but the dof still very thin.. :dunno:

You so lucky to get this lens bro. I was late. Enjoy it. The colors this lens is capable of producing is very solid.
 

Actually the Cosina lens....even though "did not get good respect locally" performs really well.

I do have a 100-300mm f5.6-6.7 cosina lens - mainly suitable for sunny days, it performed really well given the right choice aperture. My first zoom lens i bought from myself about 9yrs ago when i bought my Minolta 400si.

Yup, Cosina lenses are really good. Still having my 28-210mm f3.5-5.6 & 70-210mm f2.8-4.0

first of all brudder its a "praying mantis" but after looking at your picture..i agree its a "playing" mantis.. :bsmilie: ;)
