Bro you turn Pro already :bsmilie:
i take back what i said about there being nothing to shoot in pasir ris. on the way home from fireworks, i came across this praying mantis along the corridor. ran home to pick up the sigma 50mm 2.8 macro, here are some shots with that lens, practically no touch-up done to the images, only resized:

bro, I too have a copy of the 50mm macro Sigma...tht mean u were really close to the mantis when taking this picture yah? WOOOoooo...
nice colours, esp #3! now you've inspired me to go shoot macro at the florist shop! but watch out for the focus in #2..
thx, i bought the lens very cheap yet the color pretty nice.. actually i dont know where to focus in #2 i already used f8 but the dof still very thin.. :dunno:
Actually the Cosina lens....even though "did not get good respect locally" performs really well.
I do have a 100-300mm f5.6-6.7 cosina lens - mainly suitable for sunny days, it performed really well given the right choice aperture. My first zoom lens i bought from myself about 9yrs ago when i bought my Minolta 400si.
the playing mantis reminds me of a catch i took quite some time ago :bsmilie:
